The aptly named Immaculate Styles got paid to DJ at 15 and never looked back. Scoring a Sundance-award winning film at 20, collaborating with multiple Grammy winners by 25, first as a bass player, then as a producer and several acclaimed pursuits in fashion and design are just part of the long list of accomplishments he has enjoyed over the last 20 years as a producer, songwriter and artist. His latest tracks are a collaboration with dear friend and long-time songwriting partner Lisa Shaw, a star in her own right and Naked Music alum. The songs were written and recorded throughout his Laurel Canyon home, the two of them nestled deep in the Hollywood Hills for days, listening to Prince, David Bowie, Chaka Khan and Chic endlessly, writing songs and making tracks, all while Lisa’s jerk chicken cooked on the stove.
Their Chic-inspired first single, the modern disco classic “I Wanna Let You Know,” was mixed by Mick Guzauski whose credits include Daft Punk, Pharrell and Jamiroquai
